It's high rpm is good for this and doesn't weigh that much is a plus. The guarantee on this is first rate if you're not completely satisfied no questions asked return it in the 90 day's. I bought this drill at the big box, it came in a black plastic case but nothing is said about that here. You can use a lower speed drill to but I prefer high. Only time will tell but I think it's perfect for what I'm using it for. Thanks Also has a belt hook and bubble level and a eight-foot cord. Mainly I use this with my Kreg pocket hole jig drilling holes.
But I bought it for use in a variety of materials, including metal, and it has been a disappointment. I've never seen a drill that I could stall a low/moderate speeds as easily as this one.It seems to be OK at higher speeds, so if you only use small bits and drill in soft material like wood, you might find this drill acceptable. This drill provides very poor performance in the lower speed ranges, such as when drilling metal, esepecially with larger bits. The speed control is very poor, and the torque/power is also poor.
